What is an Estate Sale in today's Market?
What most people don't know is that you do not have to die to have an estate sale. You can have a living estate sale. You can have a downsizing sale. You can call it anything you like. It is your stuff, so you can do with it what you like. This includes selling it anyway you like. You don't even have to move. You can have it a garage, a sunroom or even at a friends house who is moving or has moved. As long as you have a place for the stuff and have the stuff to sell, you can have a sale. We are a free country right? I say if you have clutter, or want to redo your house or a room in your house, what is a better way than selling some of your household items or collectibles to redo your space. Everything you have doesn't have to be old, antique or collectible, that is what people fail to realize. You can just have too much stuff for your space.
I believe for the past ten years we all over consumed and now we are looking at what we have and we realizing we don't need it all. The good news is that there is someone out there that does need it or want it. Some people even have store dedicated to selling used household items and furniture. It's those people you want to attract to your sale. With all the shows on cable television today that show us how what removing clutter looks like, we know it is possible.
This is where my experience can come in and help you. I consider my experience to qualify me to sort, organize, price and sell the items you no longer need. If you need help, please feel free to contact me. Sign up to follow my blog. I will discuss reselling, rebuying, antiques, collectibles, household items, and everything under the sun about reshopping on both sides of the spectrum. Talk to you soon. The Reshopper
